2 - 4 Family Mini Biography

>> Wednesday, February 18, 2009

The 2-4 Family was a rap/hip-hop group that formed in Germany in the late 1990s.

The original line-up included Jay Dog, Joseph Jazz, Essence Woods (Essie), and Joanna Biscardine (Jo).

Their first hit single, "Stay", was released and recorded in 1998 and reached the eighth position on the Viva Top 100 charts. The same year the 2-4 Family released a remix of Wham!'s "Last Christmas," under the moniker, Rap Allstars.

After the group split up early in 2000, a group with the same name was created, but with none of the original members. The recreation was unsuccessful and they disbanded after one unsuccessful single.
